Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person, married couple) reside in on-campus student homes at Milton Hershey School to supervise and mentor 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, routines, medication administration, transporting students to activities, planning development and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and chapel, budgeting and reporting, and maintaining a structured, family-like environment. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with potential transition to a Placed Houseparent role living and working with the same students. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Two-person couple must be legally married for at least two years
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Willingness to reside on-campus in student homes
- Comfort leading daily devotions and chapel services
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- Two individual employment applications for both spouses
