Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (a two-person married-couple role) live on-campus in student homes, supervise and mentor 8–13 students, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and engage in development and recreational activities, lead daily devotions, and manage budgeting/household reporting. The position includes relocation to the Hershey, PA area with on-campus housing and comprehensive benefits. Requires a high school diploma or GED, valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, experience with youth, and both spouses must be 27+ years old and legally married for at least two years. The work schedule begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with a transition to a placed houseparent in a fixed student home. Relocation assistance and paid training are provided.
Required Qualifications
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role-model behavior for students
- Relocation to on-campus housing at Hershey, PA is required
