Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents reside in on-campus student homes to provide daily supervision, mentorship, and care for a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and housing reporting. The role starts with a nine-on, three-off schedule and eventually places the couple with the same group of students in their own student home; relocation assistance and paid training are provided. Requires experience with youth, a high school diploma or GED, a valid U.S. driver’s license, lifting ability up to 50 lbs, and a commitment to a smoke-free, weapon-free campus with no alcohol on duty.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-spouse role requiring married couple to apply
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
Additional Requirements
- Couples must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Pet restrictions: fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed
