Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School: a two-spouse on-campus role residing in student homes to supervise 8–13 students, provide care, mentorship, and support, manage household routines, administer medications, drive students to activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and reporting, and progress to a Placed Houseparent living with the same group of students. Initial schedule is nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with relocation to Hershey, PA. Benefits include salary of $46,917 per person (approximately $180,000 per couple) plus comprehensive benefits, relocation assistance, paid training, and PTO. Qualifications include youth-serving experience, high school diploma or GED, two-year marriage between spouses, both spouses aged 27+, U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, comfort leading devotions and Chapel services, and a smoke- and weapon-free campus. For consideration, both spouses must submit individual employment applications.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Chapel services
