Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents on Milton Hershey School campus. A two-person, married-couple role living in on-campus student homes, providing care, guidance, supervision, and support for approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and chapel attendance, overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Initial schedule is nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a placed houseparent living with the same group of students. Benefits include salary per person ($44,768) plus comprehensive benefits, relocation assistance, paid training, and PTO.
Required Qualifications
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
