Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School: a two-person, married-couple residential-care role living on-campus to supervise and mentor a group of ~8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, routines management, medication administration, transportation to activities, planning and participating in developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and reporting. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with progression to a placed Houseparent living with the same student group. Relocation assistance is provided along with comprehensive benefits and paid training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse employment requirement: both spouses must complete individual employment applications
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role-model expectations
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Chapel services
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-year marital duration requirement
- Spouses aged 27 or older
