Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents reside on-campus in student homes and provide care, supervision, guidance, and activities for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring students, managing household routines and schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and reporting. Initially, couples work in multiple student homes on a nine-on/three-off schedule before transitioning to a Placed Houseparent role with the same student group. Benefits include a salary of $44,768 per person (approx. $168,000 per couple total), comprehensive health benefits, relocation assistance, paid time off, and more.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
