Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person, married couple) live in on-campus student homes to supervise and support 8–13 students, providing care, mentorship, daily routines, medications administration, transportation to activities, and leadership in daily devotions and chapel. Responsibilities include supervising and guiding students, planning and engaging in developmental/recreational activities, budgeting and reporting for the household, and transitioning from a rotating nine-days-on/three-days-off schedule to a placed houseparent role living with the same group of students. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-spouse, two-year marriage minimum
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and chapel services
- Commitment to smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- No more than three dependent children in the student home
