Job Summary
Provide daily supervision, mentorship, and household routine management for 8–13 students in on-campus homes. Administer medications, drive students to activities, plan recreational engagements, lead daily devotions, and accompany them to Sunday Chapel services. Oversee budgeting and household reporting while maintaining a structured, family-like environment. Initially work a schedule of nine consecutive duty days followed by three days off, with unscheduled weekday time while students are in school. Transition into a Placed Houseparent role after initial support. Both spouses must be legally married for at least two years, aged 27 or older, and hold a valid U.S. driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
