Job Summary
Provide daily supervision, mentorship, and household management for 8–13 students in on-campus homes. Administer medications, drive students to activities, and lead devotions and chapel services. Plan developmental and recreational activities while overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Operate under a schedule of nine consecutive duty days followed by three days off, transitioning to a Placed Houseparent role with a dedicated student group. Requires a legally married couple, both 27 or older, with youth experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. Relocation to Hershey, PA is required.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
