Job Summary
Provide daily supervision, mentorship, and guidance for 8–13 students residing in on-campus homes. Manage household routines, administer medications, and ensure student wellness while driving them to activities and planning developmental or recreational engagements. Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel services. Oversee budgeting and household reporting. Initially support various student homes on a schedule of nine consecutive duty days followed by three days off, transitioning to a Placed Houseparent role with a specific student group. Requires a high school diploma or GED, valid driver's license, and ability to lift 50 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; MHS staff serve as role models for students
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
