Job Summary
Provide daily supervision, mentorship, and guidance for 8–13 students in on-campus homes while managing household routines, schedules, and medication administration. Drive students to activities and lead developmental, recreational, and devotional programs including Sunday Chapel services. Oversee budgeting and household reporting, then transition to a Placed Houseparent role with a specific student group after initial rotation. This two-person position requires married couples (27+ years old) to reside on campus in Hershey, PA, with a schedule of nine consecutive duty days followed by three days off. Full-time employment includes salary, free housing, meals, and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
