Job Summary
Provide daily supervision, mentorship, and household management for 8–13 students in an on-campus residence. Administer medications, drive students to activities, and lead devotions and chapel services. Plan developmental and recreational activities while overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Operate on a nine-day on-duty, three-day-off rotation, transitioning to a Placed Houseparent role with the same student group. Both spouses must be married for at least two years, over 27, and hold valid driver's licenses to operate student home vans.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
