Job Summary

Supervise and assist students with personal hygiene, environmental mobility, and specialized teaching aids under teacher guidance. Implement activities encouraging independence while administering CPR, first aid, and medications as needed. Enforce behavior rules, record data, and facilitate IEP goals through small group instruction and one-on-one tutoring. Carry wheelchairs, lift up to 80 pounds, and maintain a clean, safe environment during classroom, playground, and field trip duties. Greet students and parents, collaborate with consultants, and participate in team meetings.

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • CPR certification
  • First Aid certification
  • Mandatory Reporting Training
  • Ability to learn, understand and implement appropriate student behavior techniques
  • Ability to respond to crisis intervention
  • Knowledge of Crisis Prevention Intervention techniques
