Student Support and Wellbeing Coordinator

Job Summary
Deliver 1:1 and group wellbeing sessions to support learners’ mental health and resilience; develop and implement strategies to promote positive behaviour and engagement; provide support for students experiencing distress, anxiety or crisis; collaborate with families, therapists, staff and external agencies to ensure holistic wellbeing; support student recruitment and assessment processes including transitions; coordinate wellbeing initiatives such as group sessions and enrichment activities; maintain accurate records and evaluate interventions using IT systems; contribute to staff training on wellbeing approaches; empathetic, organized and passionate about helping young people reach their potential; safeguarding and DBS checks are required; minimum level 2 qualification and GCSEs; eligible to work in the UK.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Level 2 qualification and GCSEs (including Maths and English)
- Experience working with young disabled adults or in a pastoral/wellbeing role
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to remain calm and solution-focused in challenging situations
- Good administrative and IT skills
- Eligible to work in the UK
