Job Summary
Facilitates the 7th or 8th grade Directed Studies classroom and guides students through completing homework assignments. Serves as a liaison between students, teachers, and parents for homework completion; communicates with counselors and administrators about academic concerns; coordinates with the Learning Center and SHARP program for tutoring services; manages after-school tutoring logistics and supervises lunch-period homework; maintains confidentiality of students and families; requires strong oral/written communication and computer skills; supports organizational and task completion abilities, with an emphasis on fostering a positive school environment.
Required Qualifications
- Two years successful post high school education.
- At least one year of work experience in a position requiring interpersonal interaction skills.
