Job Summary
As a Student Success Coach, you will manage a caseload of 50-75 students, build long-term, empathy-driven relationships, and conduct proactive outreach via phone, text, and chat to keep students engaged. You will guide students through course planning, time management, and personal and academic challenges, helping them connect daily tasks to long-term goals. Responsibilities include coaching through moments of self-doubt, documenting notes clearly, completing forms (deferrals/withdrawals), collaborating with Admissions and Onboarding for handoffs, tracking progress with dashboards, and adapting to a fast-paced startup environment while maintaining consistent outreach and accountability. This role requires in-office presence three days per week with remote options available on other days, and is located in Atlanta, GA with a compensation package in the $47,000–$56,000 range plus benefits and equity eligibility.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Strong organizational and caseload management skills
- Clear documentation and proactive prioritization
- Effective use of tools to manage follow-up and track student progress
- Ability to build relationships and navigate emotionally sensitive conversations
- Proven ability to manage a high volume of outreach and follow-up
- In-office attendance three days per week (Tue–Thu) with remote on Mon and Fri
