Job Summary
Provide individualized advising and coaching to support students' academic progress, engagement, and overall success. Serve as an initial point of contact for student concerns, connecting them with appropriate campus resources and support services. Conduct regular outreach and check-ins with assigned students to monitor academic progress, attendance, engagement, and wellbeing. Assist students in navigating institutional policies, procedures, and academic-related concerns while helping them develop strategies for time management and self-advocacy. Identify students needing additional support, initiate timely referrals, and respond to student-concern reports for early-intervention efforts. Collaborate with Student Affairs, Academic Affairs, Counseling Services, and faculty to coordinate support and maintain accurate, confidential records of all activities. Recruit, train, and supervise Student Success Peer Mentors while assisting with workshop facilitation and orientation programs. Recognize complex matters requiring escalation to the Assistant Director or other campus personnel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of one year of related professional experience
