Job Summary
Lead spiritual development, recruit and train new leaders, and manage fundraising events while actively engaging in direct ministry through contact work, clubs, and camping strategies. Maintain accurate records for kids, leaders, and donors; communicate ministry updates to donors and partners; and adhere to all organizational policies and procedures. Complete required mission-wide training, including Core Training Phase One, and engage in ongoing regional and individualized development. Live locally to effectively partner with the Area Director and support the mission of reaching every adolescent with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Required Qualifications
- Must have completed Core Training —Phase One
- Must have 1 or more clubs
- Experience in direct ministry
- Proven relational skills with both kids and adults
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Must have completed Leadership I and II as a Staff Associate
- Must be able to live locally
- Must profess a belief in Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and Lord
- Must subscribe to the statements and policies required of all Young Life staff, including the Young Life Statement of Faith
- Must be ready, willing and able to fulfill such ministry functions as may be required by the organization
- Must refrain from conduct and statements that detract from the biblical standards taught and supported by Young Life
- Must abide by all policies and practices of Young Life including, without limitation, those related to religious belief or ministry activities
Desired Qualifications
