Job Summary
Lead spiritual development, team building, and direct ministry for adolescents through active contact work, club leadership, and camping strategy implementation. Manage volunteer care, recruit new leaders, and handle resource development including donor care and fundraising support. Assist with office administration, data management, and expense reporting while adhering to all organizational policies and religious standards. Participate in regional and area training events to enhance personal character and ministry competency. Pursue a college degree while maintaining professional conduct during working and nonworking hours.
Required Qualifications
- Profession a belief in Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and Lord
- Subscribe to the statements and policies required of all Young Life staff, including the Young Life Statement of Faith
- Be ready, willing and able to fulfill such ministry functions as may be required by the organization
- Refrain from conduct and statements that detract from the biblical standards taught and supported by Young Life
- Abide by all policies and practices of Young Life including, without limitation, those related to religious belief or ministry activities
- Proven relational skills with both kids and adults
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Pursuing a college degree
