Job Summary
Operate under the supervision of a designated scientist on a research or development project, performing a range of tasks across different on-site environments to enhance technical, analytical, and scientific communication competencies. Participate in regular seminars featuring leading faculty discussions and present research findings at the Summer Student Poster Competition in August. The program runs from May to late August for undergraduates in health sciences, biomedical engineering, life sciences, or related disciplines, offering a unique hospital-based research experience within Sunnybrook Research Institute's premier academic medical research centre.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate student status
- Health sciences, biomedical engineering, life sciences or related disciplines in a recognized Canadian university program
- High academic standing
- Demonstrated interest in the field of research and sciences as a possible future career
