Job Summary
Provide speech and language therapy to children and clients with congenital, developmental, or physical impairments under the direction of a licensed Speech and Language Pathologist. Administer standardized assessment tools to evaluate therapy needs, participate in creating and revising treatment plans, and conduct therapy as mandated on Individualized Education Plans. Collaborate with family members, teachers, and other team members to facilitate comprehensive treatment, while recording all evaluations, progress notes, and discharge information on client charts. Document and complete all college and university paperwork to verify participation and completion of supervised experience.
Required Qualifications
- Display thorough knowledge of the principles and practices of speech/language pathology.
- Adhere to the standards of the clinical practices established by the American Speech- Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at a four year college or university and studying Speech/Language Pathology Communication Disorders
