Job Summary
Reference channel definition, parameter extraction, and integration of mixed-signal SERDES IPs into full-chip silicon, packages, and PCBs. Review and validate silicon parameters against interface specifications, participate in schematic and layout reviews, and debug failing simulations. Apply signal and power integrity concepts to optimize package and PCB designs while collaborating with internal teams to ensure successful integration and high-quality delivery. This student position is relevant only for Israel.
Required Qualifications
- B.Sc or M.Sc Electrical Engineer at well recognised universities
- average grades above 85
- one years till graduation
- Strong background in electromagnetic and waves theory of physics
- High motivated junior engineer
- previous gathered experience from the university projects
- Team players who enjoy big challenges
- Ability to the study and implementation of the learned material and theory in the multidisciplinary domains: Analog and Digital Electronics, Signal and Power Integrity
Desired Qualifications
- Basic or deep knowledge in Keysight ADS and HSPICE simulation setup creation and running
- Basic or deep hands-on experience in the Ansys HFSS, Cadence Clarity or similar Electromagnetic Simulation tools – setups creation and parameters definition, simulation running
- Basic or deep knowledge of the PCIe and IEEE Ethernet specification
