Student Services Coordinator

Job Summary
The Student Services Coordinator will serve as the first point of contact for students and provide comprehensive administration support across enrolment, orientation, graduation, and general enquiries to enhance the student experience. Responsibilities include advising students throughout their studies, handling pre-enrolment and course/unit enrolment tasks, managing student requests and grievances, ensuring accurate reporting and analysis of student data, disseminating information to students and staff, assisting with planning events such as orientation and graduation, and maintaining data integrity in the student management system while complying with relevant processes and regulations. The role requires a degree-level qualification, 3-5+ years of administration/customer service experience (higher education experience is desirable), strong customer service orientation, excellent attention to detail, problem-solving ability, proficiency with Microsoft Office and student systems (e.g., Paradigm, Moodle), and Full Australian Working Rights. Applicants should demonstrate strong communication and organisational skills and be committed to the organisation’s Christian community.
Required Qualifications
- Possession of a degree level qualification (or an equivalent combination of relevant experience/training)
- Committed Christian involved in a local congregation
- 3-5+ years (or more) experience in administration and/or customer service
- Higher education environment experience is highly desirable
- Understanding of customer service excellence
- Acute attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Ability to triage and problem solve
- Technological literacy and experience with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Organisational skills with ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks (ESOS, TEQSA, PRISMS) would be an advantage
- Proficiency in Paradigm, Moodle, or similar student systems would be an advantage
