Student Services and Instruction Librarian

Job Summary
Lead instructional and outreach efforts as the primary instructional and liaison librarian for the Law Library. Develop, teach, and coordinate legal research instruction and tutorials, partner with Student Affairs, student government, and the College of Law marketing team, and mentor student organizations (e.g., moot court, law journals). Provide reference and research services, participate in collection development, and collaborate on library instruction courses with the Curriculum Committee. Serve as a liaison to student organizations and committees, represent the Law Library at meetings, and engage directly with students through embedded instructional programs, online tutorials, and face-to-face sessions. Demonstrates strong communication, supervisory capabilities, and mastery of legal databases and educational technologies (e.g., TWEN, Lexis Classroom, Canvas). Full-time schedule with travel for professional development as required.
Required Qualifications
- M.L.S. from an A.L.A. accredited library school program
- J.D. from an accredited ABA institution
- Previous academic law library experience strongly preferred
