Job Summary
Provide academic and career guidance, assist with admissions, financial aid, course selection, and registration, and interpret placement and transcript information. Collaborate with departments in Academic and Student Affairs to refer students to resources such as tutoring and ensure they understand degree and graduation requirements. Navigate the college journey from enrollment to completion while reporting to the appropriate administrator within the assigned area. This grant-funded position requires a bachelor's or associate degree with relevant experience and a successful criminal background check. Salary ranges from $40,800 to $45,800.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation with a bachelor's degree from an institution that holds accreditation recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and approved by the College
- Graduation with an associate degree from an institution that holds accreditation recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and approved by the College
- At least two years of relevant experience
- Successful results of a criminal background check
- Meeting the requirements of § 435.04(2), Florida Statutes, related to background investigations
- Disclosure of any adverse information contained in the background investigation at the time of submitting the employment application

- Experience at the post-secondary level in a Student Services area
