Job Summary

Coordinate disability accommodations and auxiliary aids for an assigned caseload through the interactive process, reviewing documentation to determine eligibility and maintaining confidential records in the DAS database. Oversee daily operations of the Accommodated Testing Center by supervising testing processes, ensuring secure environments, and managing materials for extended time, reader, scribe, and text-to-speech accommodations. Serve as a liaison between students and faculty regarding testing schedules and procedures while consulting with directors on complex requests. Maintain compliance with Section 504, ADA, and FERPA while participating in outreach initiatives and campus events. This fully in-person role supports assistive technology initiatives and inclusive practices during the 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. schedule.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • One to three years of related higher education experience

Desired Qualifications

  • Master's degree
  • Three to five years of related higher education experience
  • Preferred academic background in education, psychology, counseling, special education, or related field
  • Experience working with students with disabilities in a higher education environment
  • Experience interpreting disability documentation and psychometric evaluations
  • Knowledge of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), ADA Amendments Act (ADAAA), Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, and FERPA
  • Knowledge of disability accommodation practices and accessible testing procedures
  • Working knowledge of assistive technology, accessibility software, Microsoft Office Suite, and willingness to learn new technologies
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to effectively work with diverse students, faculty, staff, and families
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment, problem-solving, and discretion when handling confidential information
  • Demonstrated commitment to accessibility, equity, inclusion, and student success
  • Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a professional team
