Job Summary
Assess patients, implement and evaluate care plans, and perform procedures including low-flow oxygen setup, non-exotic aerosol therapy, hyperinflation, and EKGs under the direction of a Licensed Mississippi Respiratory Care Practitioner. Assist with equipment cleaning, transport, and patient communication while contributing to health care delivery improvements. Once BLS certified, assist in cardiorespiratory arrests at the institution's discretion. Complete assigned educational goals and participate in ongoing clinical activities to build clinical leadership knowledge.
Required Qualifications
- Currently Enrolled as a second year Respiratory Care Practitioner student in an accredited AS degree Respiratory Care Program or Senior Year RCP Candidate in an accredited BS degree program within 1 year of graduations.
- Meets or exceeds all academic requirements.
- Computer literacy.
- BLS certification within 14 days of hire date
