Student Records Clerk

Job Summary
Provides administrative and clerical support to the Student Records Department. Duties include reviewing incoming information for student records to ensure accuracy and completeness of each form; preparing arrival pay sheets for students; reviewing student folders to ensure they contain necessary paperwork; updating student profiles (ETA 640); preparing terminated folders; filing Student information into permanent folders; coordinating with counselors and SPM on arranging student transportation; inputting accountability information in CIS to generate the morning report; working toward meeting performance management goals; following CDSS/CSS/BMS plan and procedures daily; complying with required property controls policies and procedures; maintaining good housekeeping and safety practices; complying with all DOL guidelines, OFCCP regulations, Job Corps notices and bulletins, and center policies and procedures; modeling and mentoring Career Success Standards; helping students become more employable; performing other duties as assigned within scope and capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Associates Degree or higher preferred
- Data entry experience
- Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications
- Valid state driver’s license
