Job Summary
Perform diagnostic imaging procedures under supervision, including routine diagnostic, fluoroscopic, portable x-rays, and trauma or surgery procedures. Maintain general patient care and safety during imaging while ensuring equipment and supplies are accounted for at the start and end of each procedure. Complete the first year of an accredited imaging program and hold a high school diploma; Basic Life Support certification is required upon hire. This role operates within the Diagnostic Radiology department at Wayne Hospital, a Level III Trauma Center serving western Wayne communities.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- 1 year of relevant experience
- must have completed the first year of an accredited imaging program
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross
- drug-free workplace
- comply with the MMR, Varicella, Tdap, and Influenza vaccine requirement
