Student Radiology Technician - Per Diem*

Perform all routine diagnostic x-ray exams independently under the Imaging Services Manager's direction, operating complex equipment while adhering to A.L.A.R.A. standards. Verify patient identity with two forms of ID, review requisition sheets and clinical data to ensure correct procedures, and position patients using anatomical knowledge for maximum diagnostic yield. Process images for quality control, perform required warm-ups, and report equipment malfunctions. This per diem role fills gaps for unplanned or planned time off with no guaranteed hours. Candidates must be actively enrolled in an accredited Radiologic Technology program, hold an NV State student radiology license, and possess current BLS certification.
