Job Summary
Student Rad Tech assists Radiologic Technologists by performing imaging services and patient care across the Radiology Department, rotating through fluoro, mobiles, routine radiography, OR, endoscopy, and orthopedics to develop technical skills; prepares contrast agents and sterile trays, assists with patient transfers, educates patients about procedures, supports team-based imaging operations, reports equipment issues, and helps coordinate daily workflow; requires ability to lift up to 50 lbs, wear lead protection, and work in an environment with radiation exposure; position is part-time with a focus on developing radiography competencies while supporting radiology services.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of first year of an Accredited Radiography School and enrolled as a second year student.
