Job Summary
Student Project Coordinator role focusing on coordinating drawings and trade scopes, reviewing trade quotes and material quantities, participating in project meetings, performing deficiency walks and updating deficiency logs, issuing warranties, field coordination including quantity takeoffs and supervision of sub-trade work, setting up records, layout using total station, and scheduling updates. Key requirements include being enrolled in an Electrical Engineering program with at least one more semester to complete, a minimum 3.0 GPA, strong interpersonal and organizational skills, ability to work in a dynamic environment, and valid work authorization in Canada. The position is a 4-month co-op based in Red Deer, Alberta, with emphasis on collaboration with supervisors and a technical mentor, and may involve pre-employment medical or drug testing and requiring an up-to-date transcript.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an Electrical Engineering program
- Will complete at least one more semester of education
- GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Ability to lead and operate in a changing environment
