Job Summary
Organize and prepare for upcoming camps, clinic days, and Yellowjacket for a Day events while developing activity plans for youth programs. Provide group leadership during regional high school visits and represent UW-Superior at core events on and off campus. Welcome visitors, assist Link Center staff with office operations, and maintain a clean, organized front office space. Ensure accurate work hour monitoring and handle confidential information per policy.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a current undergraduate or graduate student at UW-Superior
- Must be able to commit to at least 8 hours per week
- Must have experience with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Publisher
- Enthusiasm in positively representing UW-Superior and the Link Center
- High attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
- Exhibits self-motivation, responsibility, dependability, integrity, and confidentiality
- Comfortable working independently and with a team
- Display professional verbal, nonverbal, and written communication
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet project deadlines
- Ability to multi-task and handle multiple priorities and assignments
- Value differences among individuals and ideas
- Follow policies and procedures outlined in the Student Employee Handbook
- Monitor and record work hours accurately
- Employment will require a criminal background check
- Employment is subject to federal laws that require verification of identity and legal right to work in the United States
