Job Summary
Orientation Mentors are responsible for assisting in the management of student staff and supporting new students and families during the transition to Ithaca College. Key responsibilities include facilitating small group discussions, serving as role models, providing feedback to supervisors, and educating incoming students on various support services. Ideal candidates will have strong communication and teamwork skills, along with a proven ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
Required Qualifications
- Must have worked as an Orientation Leader for at least one orientation program at Ithaca College
- Must maintain full-time enrollment as an undergraduate or graduate student through December 2026
- Must be in good judicial and academic standing with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5
