Job Summary
Managing and supporting nearly 70 engineering student organizations within UW–Madison’s College of Engineering, guiding organizational operations and policy compliance, and driving co-curricular learning. Leads large-scale programs and events to foster community, belonging, and professional development; provides strategic leadership for initiatives like the Badger Engineer Engage program for first-year students; oversees the student organization grant process in collaboration with campus partners; builds cross-campus partnerships and student-centered leadership opportunities to enrich the undergraduate experience.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of professional experience in college student affairs, student organization advising, or campus engagement
- Experience in developing and implementing student-centered programs and services
- Experience designing and facilitating workshops and programs on topics such as leadership, conflict resolution, cultural competency, and organizational management
- Experience leading and supporting large-scale events and programs
- Experience designing or delivering programs, advising, or services for students from a wide range of backgrounds
