Student Nurse or Patient Care Technician (PCT) - Cardiac Short Stay - Anderson Hospital

Patient Care Technician (PCT) – Cardiac Short Stay at Mercy Health. Provides basic patient care under the guidance of the Registered Nurse or designated healthcare professional, including sanitizing and cleaning patient rooms, monitoring vital signs, assisting with feeding and grooming, and aiding mobility. Acts as liaison between patient and nurse, documents care accurately, and participates in hand-offs. Performs delegated tasks once competency is validated and supports patient independence. Training in EPIC EHR is preferred; BLS certification is preferred upon hire. Wtih 24 scheduled hours per week, evenings/nights shift. Mercy Health is an equal opportunity employer.
