Student Nurse-Neuro Progressive Care Unit-PRN-3rd shift

Provide direct patient care standards within the Student Nurse Aide's scope of practice, including simple dressing changes, phlebotomy, PIV removal, and routine medication administration as delegated by the RN/LPN. Assist with patient admission, transfer, and discharge while explaining procedures to families and addressing psychosocial, cultural, and physical needs. Respond to emergency or physically distressing situations and maintain documentation meeting current standards and policies. Requires high school/GED, one year of clinical nursing experience, enrollment in an accredited nursing program, and BLS certification.
