Job Summary
Collaborate with RN preceptors to deliver direct nursing care and assist patients with activities of daily living. Monitor vital signs, observe patient status, and report critical observations to influence care planning and treatment strategies. Maintain real-time documentation of patient progress and environmental safety while supporting clinical flow by preparing and transporting patients for diagnostic services. Requires BLS certification within 30 days of hire, high school diploma or GED, and enrollment in a nursing program within 90 days. Schedule is PRN at Ascension St. Vincent's Southside Hospital in Jacksonville, FL.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted BLS certification
- High school diploma/GED
- Acceptance or enrollment into a Nursing program upon date of hire/transfer
- Begin classes within 90 days of date of hire/transfer
