Student Nurse

Provide direct patient care and maintain standards under RN/LPN direction, including simple dressing changes, phlebotomy, PIV removal, and routine medication administration as delegated. Address psychosocial, cultural, and physical needs while assisting with admission, transfer, and discharge. Explain procedures to patients and families, answer questions within scope, and respond to emergency or physically distressing situations. Document care according to current standards and policies while demonstrating flexibility and organization in stressful environments. Requires high school/GED, one year of clinical nursing experience, current enrollment in an accredited nursing program, and BLS certification.
