Student Nurse Externship All HCA Midwest Hospitals

Nurse Extern delivers high-quality, patient-centered care under RN supervision by performing delegated basic nursing tasks and activities of daily living in a flexible, learning-focused environment. The role supports nursing staff in providing patient care, maintains a clean and safe environment, and offers hands-on experience through shadow opportunities and unit rotations across multiple departments (e.g., Medical Surgical, Cardiac Care, Oncology, Orthopedics). Active enrollment in an accredited nursing program with fundamentals completed is required; opportunity to interview early for Graduate Nurse opportunities and to participate in shadow time across available units.
