Job Summary
Student nurse care partner in a hospital float pool, per diem/part-time role, supporting the patient-care team under RN/LPN supervision. Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs and activities of daily living, hygiene, feeding, mobility and transfers, observing patients, measuring and recording vital signs, I&O, specimen collection, completing EKGs, transporting patients and equipment, providing safe patient handling, postmortem or wound-care tasks as applicable, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and participating in performance improvement and patient-safety activities. Requirements include High School Grad or Equivalent and current enrollment in a licensed nursing education program; CPR certification; strong communication and organizational skills; ability to lift (>35 pounds) and perform mobility protocols, and to operate related equipment. Pays $17.34-$24.32 per hour. Location: Binghamton, NY, United States.
