STUDENT NURSE ASSOCIATE

Monitor vital signs, perform EKGs and venipuncture, and conduct dressing changes under RN supervision. Collect admission and reassessment data, formulate NANDA nursing diagnoses using DSM IV classifications, and develop patient-centered treatment plans with therapeutic communication and health teaching. Respond to patient condition changes, report adverse reactions, and obtain RN signatures for chart entries. Adhere to infection control and emergency policies while maintaining CPR and TCI certifications. Attend staff training sessions and communicate work-related issues to supervisory staff.
