Student Nurse Assistant - ICU (FLEXI)

Provide and/or assist patients with hygiene care, activities of daily living, toileting, bathing, and oral hygiene. Perform vital sign and blood glucose monitoring, document results in the electronic medical record, and report abnormal findings to the primary nurse. Assist with nutrition, hydration, and mobility needs including repositioning and transfers. Collect and transport specimens, obtain blood products from the Blood Bank, and maintain adequate supplies and equipment. Ensure patient safety by adhering to fall precautions, suicide precautions, and infection control policies. Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge processes, including room setup and transport. Notify the primary nurse of pertinent changes in patient condition and provide post-mortem care as needed.
