Job Summary
Respond promptly to requests from school staff, students, caregivers, and community partners while maintaining professional relationships with Washington County Public Schools, PCS team members, and CHRC-funded providers. Serve as a liaison between PCS, schools, families, and agencies to coordinate communication, ensure role clarity, and connect eligible students to sustainable supports. Implement strategies to improve attendance, engagement, and academic performance for at-risk students within the Multi-Tiered System of Supports framework, utilizing evidence-based programs that center caregiver engagement and apply culturally responsive, trauma-informed practices. Maintain flexibility for early morning and evening availability to accommodate school schedules and program needs.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 4-year degree
- Minimum of 1 year youth (working directly with youth under 18) REQUIRED
- Volunteer/internship experience may be counted
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to commute/relocate: Hagerstown, MD 21740: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
- Driver's License (Required)
- Day Shift - but will require some early evenings: 5-7 p.m. (at least 3 times a week), especially during school seasons
