Job Summary
Coordinate new student orientation, academic advising, and support services to help students persist in their program of study. Monitor student attendance, performance, and academic progress in collaboration with faculty while developing strategies to promote student satisfaction, persistence to graduation, and licensure. Provide information on targeted career and educational pathways, solicit student feedback, and function as part of an early alert team to identify obstacles to achievement. Design and target new intervention services, coordinate referrals with college departments and community agencies, and utilize the Student Management System and Student Engagement Tracking System to track retention data. Assist with on-campus testing in a proctoring or room monitoring position.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to exercise initiative and independent judgment in the performance of assigned duties
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree is preferred, but a combination of education and experience may be considered
