Job Summary
Conduct hands-on service and repair on diesel and heavy earthmoving equipment while applying academic knowledge in diesel engines, electric generators, and power distribution. Manage daily diagnostics, maintenance, and troubleshooting tasks across various construction and earthmoving machinery. Maintain accurate records using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook while demonstrating strong time management and communication skills. Work flexible hours that accommodate school schedules, with the potential for full-time conversion upon graduation.
Required Qualifications
- Must be currently enrolled as a student in a public, private or accredited academic institution majoring in a diesel or heavy equipment program.
- Knowledge of diesel engine, electric generator, power distribution and associated equipment.
- 3.0 or higher GPA on a 4.0 scale.
- Excellent computer and related software skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Versatility and the flexibility to adapt to new situations are essential.
- Able to commute to work location on a daily basis.
- A background check and drug test are required as part of our pre-employment process.
