Job Summary
Six-week summer internship for NWRESD with three departments (Communications, Education, Technology). The role supports district operations and provides hands-on experience by assisting senior staff with tasks and department-specific projects. Duties include clerical duties and a range of department-specific tasks such as creating visual content, event planning support, social media, writing/editing, media relations, documentation, and meetings preparation. Duties vary by department and program dates run July 13, 2026 – August 21, 2026. Bilingual and biliterate skills are preferred; opportunities to gain exposure to education service district functions and professional skill development are highlighted.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated creative problem-solving skills
- Reliable and eager to learn
- Ability to listen, understand, and follow directions of staff and supervisors
- Communicates effectively with diverse populations in a culturally relevant and responsive manner
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Familiarity in the use of computer and internet-based applications, including but not limited to email, internet software, Google Suite, and word processing (MS Word)
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
