Job Summary
Learn and understand the basic principles and methods used in the Pathology Administration department while following established protocols. Maintain detailed organization and effective communication skills to interact with team members and stakeholders. Apply diplomacy to navigate outpatient areas or community health center environments, working independently once directed. This part-time role supports Boston Medical Center's mission to provide exceptional and equitable care to all patients in the community.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a high school student (18+ years of age)
- Must have a permit to work or be a high school graduate enrolled in a degree or vocational program
- Must be detail-oriented
- Must have good communication skills and diplomacy to interact and communicate effectively
- Must be able to stay organized
- Must be able to work independently once given direction
- Must complete a background check before beginning employment
- Must be vaccinated against COVID-19 and flu, as well as receive a booster dose of the COVID-19 vaccine
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in outpatient areas of a hospital or in community health centers
