Student Health Records Specialist

Process criminal background checks, drug screenings, and medical records for CNA (STNA) students entering healthcare facilities. Review, analyze, and interpret submitted health records to determine completion of requirements, then advise students of deficiencies and appropriate corrective actions. Scan, index background check reports, student waivers, and adverse letters while maintaining strict confidentiality and adhering to Federal, State regulations, and College practices. Maintain student health information in the student information system and document all encounters and actions taken. Monitor office communications to resolve inquiries and assist with quarterly compliance reports.
